By downloading, installing, or using SelfSpell ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

SelfSpell is an iOS application that allows users to:

• Record and play audio affirmations
• Generate affirmations using AI (optional, subscription-based)
• Track usage statistics and streaks
• Manage personal audio content locally on their device

3. User Accounts and Subscriptions

3.1 No Account Required

The App does not require user registration or account creation for basic features.

3.2 Subscriptions

• Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store
• Pricing varies by region
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled
• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy
• You can cancel anytime through your App Store account settings

3.3 API Keys

If you choose to use your own API keys:

• You are responsible for obtaining and managing your API keys
• You must comply with the third-party provider's terms of service
• We are not responsible for costs incurred through your API usage

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Not abuse the AI generation service (rate limits apply)
• Not share subscription access with others
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

5. Content and Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

• You retain all rights to audio recordings you create
• Your recordings are stored locally on your device
• We do not claim ownership of your content

5.2 AI-Generated Content

• AI-generated affirmations are provided as-is
• You may use generated content for personal use
• We do not guarantee accuracy or suitability of generated content

5.3 App Content

• The App, its design, and features are owned by us
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
